Each Beaver, Cub and Scout pays subs every term which goes a long way to keeping the group running.
Subs though do not cover everything, so we make a number of grant applications every year to help with the running of the group and finance annual camps.
We also have a My Donate page which we use for sponsored events and through which one off donations can be made. Some of our leaders and parents work for employers that will do either match when you are raising money for the group, or employers who give an annual grant to charities connected with their employees. Find out what work your employer does with charities and you may find you can bring us a small financial windfall.
