Uniformed Beaver/Cub/Scout Leaders
We need adult volunteers who are able to commit to one night a week in their chosen section. You don’t need experience of working with children, you just need to be enthusiastic, willing to train and pass a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) background check.
You’ll have lots of support from the other leaders who range from people who have been part of the Scouting Movement for (very) many years and those who are new to it – just like you.
Supporting Roles
There is always work for willing hands. A Scout Group is not run by the leaders alone, there is a committee with all the usual appointments of Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary. People have lots of specialist skills which can be of use to the group.
